Selection Process
All submitted proposals will be assessed by NIREC’s Technology & Commercialization Advisory Board (TCAB).
- The TCAB will review projects and create a project shortlist.
- These shortlisted projects will be invited to make an in-person presentation to the TCAB and Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (EIRs).
- Usually, three to five projects are selected to receive awards, pending successful due diligence. Additional information regarding environmental impact and laboratory safety will be required.
- NIREC reserves the right to revise the budget, milestones and deliverables in concert with the principal investigators, and award the grant in line with the revised budget and milestones.
